How to use Claude Code with Nullprint

Let Claude Code create, check and drive your Nullprint profiles through MCP.

What it is

Claude Code is Anthropic's coding agent for the terminal. With the Nullprint MCP server it can list, create, check up, start and stop your profiles, and browse inside them.

Set it up in Nullprint

  1. Install Nullprint, sign in and keep the app running.
  2. Install uv (or use Node.js 18+ and replace uvx nullprint-mcp with npx -y nullprint-mcp).
  3. Connect Nullprint:
claude mcp add --scope user nullprint -- uvx nullprint-mcp
  4. Check it with claude mcp list. You should see nullprint as connected. Inside a session, /mcp lists its 17 tools.
  5. Start claude and ask: List my Nullprint profiles and tell me which are running.

FAQ

Does Claude see my passwords?

No MCP tool reads saved credentials or 2FA secrets.

Can I use it from another machine?

Yes, pass --daemon-url and NULLPRINT_API_KEY; reach the daemon over an SSH tunnel or private network, not the public internet.

It says the daemon is not running.

Open the Nullprint app and sign in.
