Let AI Agents Operate Real Browser Profiles Through MCP
AI agents can already open web pages and click around. The trouble starts when the work involves real accounts. A fresh automated browser looks like a brand-new device every time, forgets every login when it closes, and often reports a time zone that has nothing to do with its IP.
Nullprint is an AI antidetect browser for Windows and macOS. AI agents can operate real browser profiles through MCP: each profile keeps its own fingerprint, cookies and proxy, and the agent works inside it the same way you would.
What MCP is, in one paragraph
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI client call tools on your computer. Nullprint publishes an open-source MCP server, nullprint-mcp (MIT licence), that talks to the Nullprint app running on your machine. Once it is connected, the agent can list, create, check up, start and stop profiles, and navigate, read, click and type inside a running profile, all from plain-language instructions.
What changes when the agent works inside a Nullprint profile
- One fixed identity per task or account. A profile's fingerprint is generated once and frozen. The agent gets the same device every time, not a new one per run.
- Logins survive. Each profile keeps its own cookies and storage, so the agent can come back tomorrow and still be signed in.
- The environment matches the IP. Time zone, language and geolocation follow the profile's proxy exit, so a US profile looks like a US visitor and a Japan profile looks like a Japanese one.
- A check-up before it starts. The agent can run the same consistency check-up you would and tell you which profiles are not ready.
- You can watch. Profiles open in normal, visible windows. You see every page the agent opens.
What you can ask
Real examples from our own videos:
- "Open Taobao, search for Bluetooth earbuds, sort by sales, skip the sponsored listings and list the top three." Then: "Summarise the reviews of the first one." (video)
- "Start my US and Japan profiles, search for AirPods Pro 3 on each country's Amazon and compare the prices." (video)
And everyday account work, from the docs:
- "Create 20 profiles from this list of proxies, run a check-up on each and tell me which ones are not Consistent."
- "Open profile shop-07, go to the orders page and read me the unfulfilled orders."
- "Test these 5 proxies and tell me the exit country and latency of each."
- "Which profiles are running right now? Stop the ones that have been idle for an hour."
Set it up in three steps
1. Install Nullprint and sign in. Download it for Windows or macOS. The app has to be running on the same computer as your AI client.
2. Add the MCP server to your AI client.
- Claude Code:
claude mcp add nullprint -- uvx nullprint-mcp - OpenAI Codex:
codex mcp add nullprint -- uvx nullprint-mcp - Claude Desktop: download the
.mcpbextension from the MCP docs and double-click it. - DeepSeek dsh: follow the dsh guide. It installs
nullprint-mcpwith pipx and adds one block to dsh's config file. - Other clients with an
mcpServersconfig file (Kimi, Qwen, Cursor and others): add anullprintentry that runsuvx nullprint-mcp, ornpx -y nullprint-mcpif you'd rather use Node.
uvx needs Python 3.11+ and uv; npx needs Node.js 18+. The MCP docs show how to install either. There is no port or key to set up: the server finds the running app on its own.
3. Try it. Restart your AI client and ask: "List my Nullprint profiles and tell me which ones are running."
What it does and doesn't do
- It works through the app on your computer. The MCP layer talks to the Nullprint app on
127.0.0.1and sends nothing to our servers. Your AI client does send what it reads (page text, for example) to the model provider it uses, so choose your client accordingly. - Some actions are deliberately left out. Permanently deleting a profile can only be done by hand in the app; the agent can move a profile to the recycle bin, which is recoverable. There are no file-writing tools.
- Stay inside the profile. For Chrome-kernel profiles with external debugging switched on in the app (it is off by default), the server can hand out a DevTools endpoint for tools like Playwright. A script attached that way can change settings the profile's fingerprint doesn't expect, so prefer the session tools that come with the MCP server.
- Follow each site's rules. Nullprint keeps profiles separate and consistent. It is not a way around a platform's terms.
FAQ
Which AI clients work? Any MCP-capable client. We have guides for Claude Code, Codex, Claude Desktop and DeepSeek dsh, and a config snippet for clients that use an mcpServers file.
Do I need to know how to code? No. You install the app, run one command (or double-click a file in Claude Desktop) and then talk to the agent in plain language.
Is it free? The MCP server is open source. Nullprint's Free plan gives you 5 profiles, free forever, and new accounts start with a 7-day Team trial.
Can the agent see my other profiles? It can see the profiles in the Nullprint account that is signed in on that computer, the same ones you see in the app.
